Profile Overview

Check the Fit Before Choosing Flat Silicone Tubes

Bring the strip and the installation detail together. Check these three points before choosing an existing flat profile or requesting a custom section.

  1. 01

    Measure the Installation Slot

Confirm the width and depth available for the outside of the tube.

  2. 02

    Check the Strip and Connection

Compare the internal channel with the strip width, component height and any connector.

  3. 03

    Mark the Visible Light Face

Show which broad face should emit and where the light will be viewed.

Profile & Installation Options

Choose a Flat Silicone Tube for Your Strip

Select the empty silicone housing by its outside dimensions, internal strip space and visible light face. LED strips, cables and sealing parts are specified separately. A wider outside profile does not necessarily accept a wider PCB.

Dimensions describe the housing, not a finished light. PCB references do not include component, connector or cable clearance. Confirm the selected sample and exact supplied dimensions in the quotation.

Recessed Profile Options

F-Series Recessed Silicone Tubes

Choose an empty silicone housing for a prepared installation groove. These recessed profiles have installation edges and are supplied separately from the LED strip. Compare the profile size and PCB width reference below, then send your groove drawing and strip details to check the complete fit.

Check the Groove, Strip and Finished Light Together

The listed profile size is not a recommended groove-cutting dimension. Include the groove opening and depth, LED component height, connector clearance, required lengths and quantity. Check insertion and retention on a sample before committing to the installation.

Housing colour alone does not define the finished light output. End fittings, cable exit and sealing must be selected for the complete assembly; the empty housing alone does not establish a waterproof rating.

Which F-Series Profile Fits Your Project?

F1510 or F1616 for a 10 mm PCB?

Both list a 10 mm PCB width reference, but their external sizes differ: F1510 is 15 x 10 mm and F1616 is 16 x 16 mm. Start with the space available in the installation. The greater external height of F1616 does not establish its internal component clearance or guarantee a particular light appearance. Send the strip height and groove section to check the complete fit.

Can I replace P1510 with F1510 because both are 15 x 10 mm?

Do not substitute them by nominal size alone. F1510 has a recessed installation interface; the P1510 flat profile has a different external section. Compare the actual installation edges, groove and end fittings before changing profiles. Include an end-view photograph of the existing tube if you need a replacement.

Does choosing an F-series housing determine voltage or LED density?

No. These entries are empty silicone housings, not powered LED Neon Flex models. Voltage, LED density, power and control method belong to the separately selected LED strip. If you need a complete powered light, start with our LED Neon Flex range rather than treating the housing reference as an electrical specification.

Can end caps and mounting parts be shared across F-series profiles?

Do not assume the same fitting works across the series. Match the cap to the actual profile end and the mounting part to the installation interface. Include the selected F-series reference, an end-view photograph, cable-exit position and mounting surface with your request so the corresponding parts can be checked together.

Low-Profile Housing Options

T0511, T0513 and T0515 Flat Silicone Housings

Compare these 5 mm-high empty silicone housings by outside width and the separate PCB width reference. They are not powered LED Neon Flex products. Provide the LED component height and any connectors as well as the board width to check the usable internal space.

T0513 Black is also identified as T0513B. Dimensions above are outside width x height; they are not the internal clearance or a groove-cutting allowance.

T-Series Fit and Ordering Questions

Why does T0511 have an 11 mm outside width but an 8 mm PCB reference?

The outside width includes the housing walls and section details. The 8 mm value is the separate board-width reference, not the housing width. Check the complete strip and connection arrangement against the actual internal section rather than treating the 11 mm exterior as usable PCB space.

Can I change between white T0513 and black T0513B without reviewing the light?

Both references show a 13 x 5 mm exterior and a 10 mm PCB width reference. That does not establish identical light appearance. Review the selected colour with the actual strip, diffuser face and intended viewing position before confirming the assembly.

What lengths can I request for these housings?

The listed options run from 1 m to 10 m for each of the three white references and the T0513 black option. Specify the length of each segment, total quantity and any end-finishing requirements. The supplied cuts and included parts are confirmed in your quotation; the housing length does not define the LED strip’s electrical cut interval.

Does the PCB reference guarantee WS2812, WS2815 or another strip will fit?

No. The control-chip name does not define PCB width, maximum component height or connector clearance. Share the actual strip specification and photographs of its cut end and connections. Select the strip’s voltage and controller separately; the empty housing itself does not define them.

Selection Check

What to Confirm Before Selecting Flat Silicone Tubes

Use the actual strip, route and surrounding installation to confirm the profile rather than selecting from the outside appearance alone.

External Form

Show the required width-to-height relationship and the surface that must remain visible.

Internal Space

Provide the LED strip width, component height and any joint or connector that must fit inside.

Light Face

Mark the intended emitting face and viewing direction in the installed position.

Bending Route

Show the route and curve direction so the profile is not selected by appearance alone.

Installation Interface

Include the groove, housing, clip or surrounding part that controls the available space.

Ends & Connections

Indicate cable exits, end details and any assembled length requirements.

Choose an available flat format when its cross-section, strip space and installation interface match the required assembly.

Use a drawing, sketch or sample when the external form, internal channel, light face or connection detail must change.

For a flat silicone LED strip diffuser, show the groove width and depth, the full strip height including components, and which broad face should remain visible. Compare these details with the internal-space fit checklist.

Specify whether you need the empty silicone housing for your own strip or a finished LED Neon Flex assembly. Review the light line with the intended strip before confirming the profile.

Application Review

Connect the Profile to the Installation Scene

Share the viewing position, mounting route and available space so the tube can be reviewed within the actual detail.

Questions

Flat Silicone Tubes FAQ

What is a flat silicone tube?

It is a silicone lighting profile identified by its flat or rectangular external form. The selected cross-section still needs to be checked against the LED strip, visible light face and installation.

How do I check LED strip fit for flat silicone tubes?

Provide the strip width, maximum component height, a clear specification or photograph, and any connector or joint that must fit inside the profile.

Can the flat profile be customized?

Custom dimensions and cross-sections are available when an existing profile does not fit the installation. Send a drawing, sketch or physical sample for review.

What is the minimum order quantity?

The minimum order quantity for LED silicone tubes starts from 200 m. Include the estimated quantity and required profile format with the request.

Can I request a sample?

Yes. A sample can be arranged for the selected profile. Sample details and shipping are confirmed with the request; shipping is paid by the recipient.
