Lighting for Merchandise & Displays

Retail Display

Keep the focus on the merchandise. Integrate light into display cases, shelves and feature plinths, selecting the source and housing around the viewing position, display material and space available.

Lighting in Context

Start With What the Customer Should See

Display lighting should work with the objects, glazing and finishes around it. Show the merchandise position and viewing angle as well as the space available for the lighting assembly.

01

Display Cases

Position the lighting around the objects and glass surfaces. Review direct views of the source, reflections and the route used to reach cables and connections.

02

Merchandise Shelving

Integrate light above, below or within a shelf detail. Show shelf depths, merchandise positions and how the lighting will be supported and connected.

03

Plinths & Feature Displays

Use a defined light line to frame a base or display feature. Consider the visible edge, bends, mounting and access when the display is moved or updated.

LED Strip Lights

COB and SMD strips are supplied as light sources for a selected housing or recess. Review the required appearance and electrical design rather than selecting by category alone.

LED Silicone Tubes

Empty silicone housings for separately selected strips. Check the cavity, diffuser appearance and connection clearance against the actual display detail.

Common Questions

Before You Choose

Is COB always the better choice for a retail display?

No single strip category determines the result. Source spacing, diffuser, housing depth and viewing distance all affect the visible light. Compare the selected COB or SMD configuration against the actual display detail.

How can visible light points or reflections be reviewed?

Send photographs or a section showing the light position, glass and normal viewing angles. Review the source, housing and diffuser together; the finished effect should be checked in the intended arrangement.

Does a silicone tube include the LED strip?

An empty silicone tube or profile does not include the LED source. Specify the separately selected strip or request an integrated LED Neon Flex product when a ready-to-light flexible format is required.

Can I specify colour rendering or a particular light colour?

State the required appearance and any measurable requirements when requesting a quote. The available configuration and supporting product data must be confirmed for the selected model; no single specification is assumed across the range.

What should I send for a display lighting quotation?

Provide a display photograph, layout or section with dimensions, run lengths and quantity. Include the merchandise positions, viewing angle, mounting, cable routing and any power or controls already selected.
